Minimum 2 inches on all sides. For fragile items, 3+ inches. The item should not touch any wall of the outer box.
What's the difference between bubble wrap and foam?
Bubble wrap is good for light protection. Foam is better for impact absorption. For fragile items, we use both.
Should I insure it?
If it's worth more than $100 or irreplaceable, yes. Insurance costs vary based on the item's value.
